CELLULAR EXERCISE AIDS IN ANTI-AGING AND DISEASE PREVENTION

Science has long proven that aging and disease occur at the cellular level.

A famous French Physiologist named Claude Bernard believed that it was the cellular environment that needed to be clean in order to promote health and prevent illness. When the environment in which the cells live gets overly polluted and toxic the cells begin to loose their ability to function properly. This in turn causes the cells and, consequently, the body to get sick.

Now there is a way to actually exercise the cellular system and every cell simultaneously.

According to Al Carter, rebounding or cellular exercise is “The most effective form of exercise yet devised by man.” (1)   Mr. Carter is a known authority on rebound exercise and has researched this topic extensively. He is the author of The New Miracles of Rebound Exercise.”

Cellular Exercise is recommended by medical doctors, physical therapists, professional trainers, massage therapists, personal trainer and chiropractors just to name a few.

In America today we are facing a health crisis like no other in history with the increases of illness such as but not limited to: fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, diabetes, arthritis, lupus, multiple sclerosis plus other immune dysfunctional illnesses.

The risk factors and diagnosis for cardiovascular disease and cancer are staggering and recently there has been a re-emergence of infectious diseases that are once again rearing their ugly heads.

How many of you would like to decrease your chance of getting sick? Just think how much time and money would be saved if we worked on prevention. “Up to 40 million Americans get the flu each year, an average of about 300,000 are hospitalized, and 20,000 to 40,000 people die from complications. The economic impact is high as well, costing the States an annual $14.6 billion in physician visits, lost productivity and lost wages.” (2)  - PR. Newswire Jan. 2000

What does this have to do with cellular exercise?

I believe that if you are going to start planning to get healthy and fit, you should start at a cellular level by oxygenating and cleansing you system of toxins and other damaging foreign invaders. It is creating and enhancing health and fitness from the inside out.

I strive to be on the cutting edge of health and fitness research and I attend seminars and workshops so I can provide the best possible solutions to health and fitness concerns, ranging from debilitating chronic diseases, seasonal illnesses to improved fitness levels.

Over the past six years my focus of study and research has been and is currently in the area of the lymphatic and immune systems, the etiology/pathophysiology and the causation of disease and cellular exercise.

I have learned a common theme to all the challenges mentioned…a weak immune system and polluted cellular environment.

The cellular environment is the environment where all of the cells in our body live. This could represent the lymphatic system, digestive system, and cardiovascular system just to name a few.

The lymph system is made up of many types of immune cells.  They are a highly trained specialized team that search out and rid the body of mutant cells such as invading viruses, dead, diseased or infected cells, and the toxic wastes. The Lymphatic system is the major detoxification system of the body. If it runs down or malfunctions you run down and malfunction. For that reason it is very important to keep this system healthy so it can function efficiently.

When the cells of your body need nutrients, they have to get it from the lymph fluid. Did you know that you have four times as much lymph fluid in your body as you do blood? It bathes the 75 trillion cells that are in the human body. But like everything else in your body, you have to keep it as clean as possible.

If this environment gets overly polluted or toxic, cell energy will decrease and so will its effectiveness to do its job.

Your lymph fluid bathes 75 trillion cells, but it can only do this if it is circulating. Your lymph system does not circulate like your blood system because it has no pump like your cardiovascular system which has the heart to circulate blood. The only way to get your lymph system circulating is through the assistance of gravity by way of movement.

One of the major influences of my research comes from the book Guyton & Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology 9th edition where it states that “The human body has the ability to resist almost all types of organisms or toxins that tend to damage the tissues and organs. This capacity is called immunity.” (3)

The National Cancer Institute claims that: “The immune system provides one of the body’s main defenses against cancer.” (4)

These qualified sources and many others illustrate how important it is that we learn how to keep these systems functioning efficiently.

In recent years, researchers have learned a lot about what the right amounts of exercise can do to bolster your immune system. Movement/gravity assistance is the greatest stimulation to your lymph system. Without exercise in your health plan imagine how sluggish your immune system would get. This is where cellular exercise comes in to play.

There is means of exercise that is safe and effective and will stimulate your lymph system. This form of exercise has actually been around for more than 50 years. It is called rebound exercise or what has been referred to as cellular exercise.

As scientific research has shown, cellular exercise is the only known virtually nonimpact exercise that works your entire body and cellular system. Cellular exercise uses the power of gravity to directly stimulate your lymphatic system. Gravity is the common denominator of all exercise. With cellular exercise, you have something that the other exercises do not have. You have three forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity happening at the same time. Which effects every cell simultaneously.

When we think of acceleration we can think of a space ship using its engines to accelerate it upward against gravity to space. When the space ship returns to earth it will use its powerful rocket engines once again to decelerate or to go down slowly back to earth. Gravity constantly pulls everything down. Just drop a pencil from a standing position and you will see gravity at work. All these forces have an effect on the cells in your body. As you rebound, you subject your entire body and cellular system against the forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity. Your cells react to this environmental stimulation and this is exercising your lymphatic system and every cell in your body, in turn strengthening your defense against colds, flues, viruses, infectious disease and more. Cellular exercise is actually cellular cleansing. This is only a brief example of how this works, if you want more in depth purchase the book “Jumping for Health” by Dr. Morton Walker.

In all, there are more than twenty-five benefits to cellular exercise. Some of these are decreased body fat, decreased incidence of cardiovascular disease, increased lymphatic circulation, increased muscle tone and endurance, increased energy and an increase in the production of red blood cells defending against osteoporosis.

These benefits will only be effective if the right equipment is used. Based on the research I have done, it is very important that the tension of the mat (rebound surface) is sufficient. This is critical to receive all the benefits and to avoid possible injury. I tested this by purchasing both a poorly designed rebounder often thought of as a mini-trampoline and a well-designed rebounder. The differences to my clients and me were like night and day.

The rebounder I am referring to is the Needak® Soft-Bounce™  Rebounder. It is the exercise equipment of the future. Many years of research testing and practical experience have gone into its development. It is recognized by physicians, chiropractors, athletic trainers, personal trainers, physical therapists and massage therapists.

I endorse the Needak® Soft-Bounce™  Rebounder and currently use it in my class curriculum under my Immune System Enhancement™  program. I also give seminars and teach certification workshops to further explain how our immune system works and how rebounding is an actual cellular exercise.

Testimonials
“Several Occupational Therapy majors in class were particularly interested in the functional exercise rehabilitation and disease prevention aspects of cellular rebounding.:

-Barb F. Physical Education Staff Mount Mary College WI.

“I have suffered with low back problems for many years and finally had surgery in 1992. He (Brian) demonstrated the Needak ® Softbounce TM  Rebounder and thought to myself that again this would not be something I could participate in because of the jarring motion. Boy was I wrong! I started this activity and now I am able to do many more activities then had been in the past 20 years.” –Lynn C. WI

“After 25 years of devastating knee injuries and surgeries, my endurance to walk for health and fitness has been significantly reduced. But because of the low impact affect of rebounding, I’m able to bounce safely at the same time improving my balance, stability, strength and endurance. Now my knee pain is virtually nonexistent.” –Holly K. WI
